Sāgara. [lang id =1028]娑竭羅 The ocean. The (sa) nāga king of the ocean palace north of Mt. Meru, possessed of priceless pearls; the dragon king of rain; his eight-year-old daughter instantly attained Buddhahood, v. the <Lotus Sutra>.
